Flowing Screeds are a relatively new innovative screed product which offers quality, speed and versatility. The benefits of utilising a flowing screed system are overwhelming. Strong consideration should be given on projects where floor specifications have not caught up the technology, quality and speed of flowing screed.

Mistakenly often called self levelling screed, our team work with levels and levelling stands to ensure your finished floor is well within the constraints of BS specifications.

Anhydrite flowing screed can be applied over installed electrical and other services and is suitable for use in most commercial and domestic buildings.

finished-screed-floorFlowing screed can be laid 10 times faster than conventional screed and is capable of achieving a lower minimum thickness often resulting in decreased costs with increased performance. Anhydrite flowing screed has an inherently high flexural strength and takes foot traffic in 24 to 36 hours.

setting up flowing screedFlowing screeds are pumpable almost self smoothing floor screeds and can be installed bonded, unbonded or floating over thermal or sound insulation with damp proof membranes if required. A smooth and level surface is created for the application of floor coverings, tiles and other finishes.

Flowing screed is also ideal for use with most underfloor heating systems achieving tensile strengths four times that of a traditional sand and cement screed. Naturally with a thinner layered screed floor, heating becomes more controllable and reactive to the building occupiers heating requirements.

With minimal shrinkage and no edge curling this is an environmentally friendly product which is protein free. A quality of surface finished is achieved in a modicum of time far and away superior to that of the traditional screeds.

Acoustic requirements and solutions are paramount factors when considering your floor composition. Good design and quality site installation are a must when choosing your screeding contractor.
